CQE is fully committed to fair pay for our artists. Our cancellation policy aims to
ensure fair recompense in the event of a customer cancelling a booking, which reflects
the time involved in organising the booking and the decreasing probability of being able
to find alternative work at short notice.
If a booking is cancelled within three working days of the starting time the full fee will be charged. If a booking is cancelled outside of the three-day period but within 10 working days of the starting time, 50% of the fee will be charged. Any event cancelled between a month and ten working days will be charged 30%. These charges also apply to rebooking or rescheduling an event within the 30 day period unless approved by the management. Any deposits given are non-transferable and non-refundable. Please make sure you pick the appropriate date before booking. Cancellations or alterations relating to events, Clients/Venues will be required to cover all costs incurred by CQE up to the cancellation date including speaker holding fee, hotel/accommodations or any travel costs.
